1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FarahDeem's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms on behalf of that organization.

2. Description of Services

FarahDeem provides a digital payment platform that facilitates:

  • Gift card trading and exchange
  • Money transfer and remittance services
  • Bill payment processing
  • Virtual card issuance
  • Related financial technology services

3. Email Verification & Account Activation

To use our services, you must create an account and verify your email address:

  • Provide an accurate and active email address during registration
  • Verify your email by clicking the verification link or using the verification code we send you
  • Your account becomes active immediately after email verification
  • For third-party login (Google, Apple ID), you can log in immediately without additional verification
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services

FarahDeem does not require identity verification or KYC documentation at account creation. However, to withdraw funds, you must provide your bank account information and set up a withdrawal password.

4. Gift Card Submission

When selling gift cards on FarahDeem:

  • Select whether the card is physical or digital
  • Choose the card type and currency
  • Enter the card value/denomination
  • Upload a clear image/photo of the card
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring the gift cards are obtained legally and legitimately
  • FarahDeem cannot verify the legal source of gift cards - the platform relies on your compliance with laws

5. Withdrawal & Bank Information

To withdraw your funds:

  • Provide your bank account information and banking details
  • Set up a withdrawal password for security purposes
  • Withdrawals are processed to your verified bank account
  • Transaction times may vary based on your bank's processing speed

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Submit gift cards that are obtained illegally, fraudulently, or through improper means
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or attempt to circumvent platform protections
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Collect or harvest user information without consent

7. Transaction Terms & Fair Usage

FarahDeem monitors user activity to ensure platform integrity and fair usage:

  • We analyze user behavior, IP addresses, and device characteristics to detect suspicious activities
  • We may restrict accounts that show signs of abuse or threaten platform fairness
  • Exchange rates are determined by real-time market conditions and updated continuously
  • All transactions are final once processed

Note: FarahDeem does not charge any platform fees. Gift card exchange rates are based on current market prices and vary in real-time.

8. Fees & Pricing

FarahDeem does not charge any transaction fees or platform fees. All pricing is determined by real-time market rates and exchange rates. Any service fees charged by payment processors or banks are outside of FarahDeem's control.

9. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FarahDeem and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FarahDeem shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may close your account at any time by contacting customer support.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. You agree to waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
